Cloning???

We recently discovered these pictures.  Similarities are easier to see with the original pictures, but I think you can still get the idea with the scanned in versions.  Maybe it's just me, but I think this is just a little creepy.

Spring is Here!

The past month or two have been really crazy for our house.  I was able to be in my first ever stage production.  Our local university produced a performance of Nunsense and auditions were open to the public.  I got the role of Sister Hubert (mistress of novices).  It was fantastic and I'm looking forward to being able to do more stuff.  Hopefully I'll get some pics of that posted later.  I don't have any right now.  I was too busy to take pics, so I'm depending on the charity of others. :-)

Just before performance week, Aiden went on a two week vacation to my parents' house.  While there, he got a new bicycle.  He's been practicing a lot and has gotten really good at riding it.

Christmas 2010

Since it's Easter time, I thought I'd post some pics from last Christmas!  Well, I'm not as far behind as I was last time :-)

Our library hosts breakfast with Santa every year.  The room was packed full and after breakfast, Santa arrived to take letters and listen to special wishes!

Aiden didn't want to tell Santa what he wanted because he had already written it in his letter.
Each child was given an ornament with their name on it to take home.

As everyone probably knows, this was the winter of snow, snow, and more snow.  Here are some pics of our first real snow of last winter.

This is our front yard.  The driveway is completely buried.
This is our back yard.  Aiden loves the swing set and slide that came with the house.
Aiden said the snow tasted really good.
This was the first of many snow angels last winter.
Of course, there must be snowball fights!

OK!  Back to Christmas!

Santa delivered lots of fun treats in the stockings (even for the cats).
Our good friends loaned us a full sized tree, which was good considering how much stuff had to go under it!
Of course, it snowed on Christmas.  Here is a nice shot of the front of the house.  See, we really do have a driveway!
