New hair cut

We finally cut Aiden's hair (again). As you can see from the Halloween pics, he needed this haircut very badly. Unfortunately he looks about 5 years old, now!

Here's the front of the haircut.

And here's the back.

He was very serious about getting pictures taken.

He did not want to be told where to stand.

But sitting in Grammy's lap made him happy again.

Halloween Night

Here are a few pictures we took of Aiden on his first ever night of Trick-or-Treating!

I took this picture just before we left to go around the neighborhood. After the Trunk-or-Treat, Aiden was very excited to put on the costume again and go get more treats.

Here you can see his treat bag. He liked that it had a cat and a pumpkin on it. We got several compliments on it as we went around the neighborhood.

This is the first house we went to. You can see that Aiden was not bashful. As soon as the door opened, he said "Treat!" and opened his bag.

Here is our next house. Laura is helping him get his treats.

Aiden had lot of fun and is now enjoying picking a special treat after lunch and dinner. Halloween has added a sentence to our daily lives. "I pick treat bag" is now Aiden's favorite request.

Trunk-Or-Treat

Here are some of the pictures we took at the Ward Trunk-or-Treat. Joe took quite a few pictures, but these are some of my favorites.

I thought Brian's robot costume was great. It looks like Brian isn't too sure.

Jackson seemed to like Brian's costume almost as much as I did. :-)

Of course, we had to get a picture of the Star Wars family!

Here's Makenzie stuck in a stiff wind. I loved this costume!

And, of course, my favorite costume of the night. Here is Aiden finally allowing me to get a happy picture of him in his puppy costume with the hood up!

Here he is earlier that night. He discovered the pumpkins decorating each table and fell in love. He went to each table saying "Punky, Mommy! I hold punky?" I had a hard time getting him to leave them on the tables.

Future Engineer

Aiden loves playing with his blocks (we have 4 different kinds). This was his tallest tower this morning. I've seen him stack taller ones, but I liked the pillars on the bottom here.

Turtle

This little guy has shown up twice in our parking pad. Aiden has loved seeing the "tuhtee". (He has problems with words that end in "l").

Daddy's Shoes

Aiden has discovered the joys of wearing other people's shoes. This time he insisted I tie the shoes so he could walk in them more easily.

Aiden's 2nd Birthday

For Aiden's birthday this year, I made a Tigger cake. I really like the way this one turned out.

We went to Nettles park this year so we'd have room to spread out a little. Aiden really enjoyed the cake and ice cream.

As you can see, he's not a messy eater, which makes my life a lot easier.

Alexis Smith enjoyed the ice cream too. This might have been her first ice cream. I'm not sure.
